Change is inevitable and constant on a macrocosmic and microcosmic scale. We can adopt transformation as we stand on the brink of significant change. Taking such a big step is never easy, but it presents us with an opportunity for growth—natural growth, my darlings.

Accepting the radical nature of rebirth is like nourishing the soil for new beginnings. It's like your subconscious mind urging you to purge an outdated system on a physical, mental, and emotional level. The chaos that follows any ending can be confusing. Still, it's also a powerful catalyst for transformation, offering a beacon of hope and a sense of optimism in the face of uncertainty. 

For my latest reading, Kali Ma brings attention to death and rebirth. “She represents the wheel of time that moves consciousness to be formed and destroyed and formed again.” Byrnja Magnusson. Given my penchant for deep thinking, I naturally delved into the subject. It led me to wonder about the planet associated with radical change, which, as it turns out, is Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius. This knowledge has been incredibly enlightening for me.

Uranus is in retrograde until January 30th, 2025. We can pause and consider the significant changes during this time. When a planet is retrograde, things slow down, giving us a chance to review, rethink, and make changes. This retrograde period will help us understand the lessons from Uranus in Taurus, how it has affected our values, and how we protect them. Have we found new, more authentic ways to connect with others? Are we open to new technology that challenges traditional money systems? Have we learned to find stability in our ability to change and develop new ideas instead of relying on staying the same? How will these changes significantly impact us personally and globally?

Taurus likes stability, routine, and safety, but going through the retrograde phase, Uranus asks us to slow down and integrate these changes. It almost feels as if it’s going to draw it out. Nevertheless, real growth happens when we balance the need for stability with the inevitable change. It's like a wake-up call that makes us more aware of our surroundings. Even though we find comfort in what we know, proper growth means being brave and curious about the unknown. This balance, this dance between stability and change, not only guides us but also reassures us that we are on the right growth path.

This retrograde is important because Uranus will align with the fixed star Algol at 26 degrees Taurus on October 14th. In the constellation of Perseus, Algol is famously called the "Demon Star" due to its intense and turbulent energy. Algol was considered a symbol of ill fortune and disorder in ancient astrology. The tales associated with this fixed star are warfare, death, and the mythological Medusa. However, Algol's energy also signifies remarkable strength and the ability to confront challenges and adapt to change. Algol represents two opposing elements: profound spiritual significance and severe adversity. There are a few perspectives and countless writings that I have found to be like two sides of a coin, and I link all of them below for you to discern. 

When Uranus lines up with Algol during this retrograde, it could change areas linked to Taurus, such as our home life, relationships, and money. These changes might feel overwhelming or destructive, but they also have the potential for transformation. Staying calm and focused is essential, even when things are intense. What seems like a bad thing at first could be a chance to let go of old, limiting thinking and embracing a grounded way of living. Don't underestimate chaos; there is so much potential for positive change.

The subconscious mind stores all the information from our surroundings, while the conscious mind only processes a tiny fraction with focused attention and often struggles with and rejects conflicting information. Utilize Yin to address the subconscious mind, which absorbs everything, both positive and negative, and Yang to influence the conscious mind, which seeks to regulate our experiences. This way, you can pinpoint the root causes of any obstacles. The subconscious holds untapped gifts that are waiting to manifest in your reality. How can you tap into your subconscious to uncover and share your greatest gifts?

Remember your power, as it can influence the world around you. Your influence affects how things and people behave in your presence and shapes your own experiences. Being aware of your impact connects you to the path of your inner self. Remind yourself to stand firmly on your ground, embracing your complete influence. Are you overly dependent on something? Have you lost parts of yourself? Is your honesty at risk? Find your balance again so you can reconnect with the depth of your inner self. Reclaim your lost or forgotten parts.

The Yin and Yang principles are interconnected and not separate. While some may find this concept challenging, traditional methods have become less effective and appealing. You can step back from what you thought was effective and explore other possibilities for things not serving you well. The constant bombardment of daily influences weakens our natural capacity to connect with our inner essence.
