This is spot on! We’ve all were raised with deep conditioning. Do you think it’s natural to withhold love when you’re well has not been filled by others? Or that your feeling of love changes overtime from others withholding it?
Thank you, GenXer. I believe it is, yes, and, in turn, the way you hold back for fear of rejection changes the texture from sweet to sour. I truly believe that when you see that love is not a transaction and that you carry it within you already, then you will find it easy to share it from an unconditional place. And whether you know this or not, you just did it right here when you clicked like and took the time to engage with me! Most do not see that it is a form of love because we are fed a narrative of what it’s supposed to look and feel like. Put your hand to your heart and repeat this: I am love. I am whole.
